Catering FacilitiesOur commitment to our students goes beyond just feeding their minds. We are also determined to provide nutritious meals in a pleasant environment ensuring we are nourishing both minds and bodies. As part of the James Theatre redevelopment we aim to modernise our catering operation facilities to increase the numbers of boys who access the facilities and to take advantage of the commercial opportunities that have arisen through the Clarendon Muse and the redevelopment of the James Theatre. Working with our catering contractors we aim to provide the following:
Better EnvironmentWe will add a new kitchen and transform our canteen area into an exciting and vibrant coffee shop environment similar to what is available on every high street.
Better Food Quality & Choice We want catering facilities that offer a nutritious choice to meet the diverse demands of secondary school students and other users of our facilities.
Better Operations We wish to create catering facilities that are open all day from breakfast through to after school. This will mean our sixth formers and staff can eat when they choose, avoiding the traditional two peak break periods. It also means that students can get breakfast in the morning if they wish to, or can enjoy a snack at the end of the school before extra sports practice.
