At Watford Grammar School for Boys we have a large and thriving Sixth Form with over 330 students. We are able to offer our Sixth Form students two excellent years which are a fulfilling and enjoyable conclusion to their schooling as well as a gateway to a rewarding career at university and beyond. Currently 98% of students go onto higher education with 46% of these going to the top (Russell group) universities.
We know that for many students, their time in the Sixth Form is the most enriching, enjoyable, exciting and memorable time of their school life. For staff it is a huge privilege to spend this time in the company of so many interesting, lively, creative and intelligent people.
To ensure that these standards are maintained we have completely refurbished our Sixth Form Facilities providing a modern and spacious area with comfortable rooms in which to relax, socialise and study.
However, we urgently need funding for essential ICT equipment for the Centre. Installing the latest technology will help ensure we maximise each students' ability to personalise and extend their own learning through the use of ICT. Click here to see How you can help make a difference
