The Clarendon MuseWelcome to the Clarendon Muse the home of the musically led arts in Watford. The Clarendon Muse was built with music in mind which is why we have the best acoustics, the finest tuition, performance and production facilities and the most inspiring musical environment.
It is home to the award-winning Watford School of Music and the Music Department of Watford Grammar School for Boys. This unique partnership between the two institutions brings the very best of musical tuition, production and performance to the heart of Watford.
The striking four-storey building has been awarded the prestigious RIBA award and has an incredible 2,000 sqm of specialist music space. This includes a 200 seat Concert Hall, a double height foyer/entertainment space, multiple sound-proofed recital/practice rooms, a music technology suite and a technically advanced recording and mixing studio.
If our vision for the Clarendon Muse can be encapsulated in a just few words it is that it becomes an exciting musical hub for all its pupils and the wider community developing and inspiring a love of music for all to enjoy.
