Seven Charities benefit from House fundraising
Nearly £3.5k was raised for charities big and small through the effort and activities of the boys across the School's House system. Commenting on the results Martin Post, Headmaster said, "This is a fantastic result for the students and for all the charities concerned. Would you jump 10,000 ft for your son's education?CONGRATULATIONS and a HUGE THANK YOU to Martin Post and our brave mums (Smirti Kotecha, Debbie Stewart and Fiona Rawbone) for their brilliant and successful tandem skydives. Jointly they have raised in excess of £4,000 (plus gift aid) for the School. - 2010 Exam Results

Summer 2010 A level results
Results will be available in school only from 10am, Thursday 19th August 2010.
Results cannot be posted, emailed or sent as texts from the school.
If students are not available on this day they must nominate someone to collect their results for them and advise the Examinations Officer of this in writing. Uncollected results will be held in school and can be collected on GCSE results day.
Summer 2010 GCSE results
A copy of results will be available for collection from school between 10am and 12 noon on Tuesday 24th August.
A statement of results, which is issued by the exam boards, will be available for collection from school between 10am and 12 noon on Thursday 26th August 2010.
Heads of Department will hold a Results Surgery on Thursday 26 August between 10am-12noon.
If boys wish to enter L6 at Watford Boys it is imperative they collect their results and, if they have not met the minimum requirements for entry to the school or any of the courses they have applied to do, they must also attend the results surgery.

There will be an Information Evening on Wednesday 8th September 2010 at 6.30pm in the main school hall. If you haven’t returned your medical/contact information forms and £15 airport transfers fees then please send them in before or bring them along to the meeting.

Parents must bring their son’s EHIC card, photocopy of his passport and passport sized up to date photo of him

The next meeting of the Fathers’ Book Club will be at 7pm in LO8 of The Clarendon Muse on Tuesday 7th September when we will be discussing The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger and The Wasp Factory by Iain Banks.

- Cashless meals

We are pleased to announce that, following the successful award of a government grant, we are installing a new cashless catering system from Cunninghams as part of the refurbishment of the canteen that is taking place over the summer holidays.
We are sure that parents and students will appreciate the advantages of the new system enabling us to deliver a more efficient, faster service and to continue to provide wholesome, healthy, and enjoyable meals at the lowest cost.

Open Morning

There is no need to book or make an appointment, just come along
The Open Morning offers a good opportunity to find out about our excellent school and its special ethos. During the morning you will have the chance to have a guided tour of the School and meet our students; visit the academic, sports, music and arts departments and talk to the teachers; enjoy refreshments in the School Canteen and hear the Headmaster speak.
Please note, application packs for admission in September 2011 will not be available before the Open Morning.

100 Year Project
Help us celebrate the School's Centenary in 2012 by contacting us now!
The 100 Year Project has been established to help us record the names and contact details of all boys who have passed through the School doors since 1912, the year the current building was first opened.
Our aim is to reach out to all Old Boys, help you get in touch with each other and give you the chance to revisit your old school and help us celebrate this significant milestone in 2012. A full programme of centenary celebrations will be posted on this website soon.

SITE ASSISTANT
for general duties including assisting with the school’s maintenance and opening and closing facilities. You must
be flexible and willing to work as part of a team. You will be a reliable individual with a cheerful and helpful
attitude, who is self motivated and able to work unsupervised. Normal working hours Mon-Fri 7am – 10.30am
