GCSE Options: Students in Year 9 will begin their GCSE courses in June 2012. They will all be receiving guidance from their Form Tutors and Heads of Departments to assist them with making the right GCSE options choices.

An Options Evening has also been arranged for students and their parents on Thursday 2^nd February 2012. This is an opportunity to discuss possible choices with Form Tutors, the Head of Year 9, Heads of Departments and the School Careers Advisor.

On 30th January Year 9 students will be issued with a form on which option choices should be indicated. This should be returned via your son’s Form Tutor by Friday 10^th February 2012.

6th Form Tours: Tours of the School are available for Year 11 students interested in joining the Watford Grammar School for Boys Sixth Form in September 2012.

Tours take place at 2.00pm and 3.00pm on the following dates:

We also have a dedicated Sixth Form Open Evening on Wednesday 8th February 2012 from 3.30pm. The Headmaster will speak at 4.15pm.

Like the Tours, the Open Evening is held for families whose sons are considering Year 12 entry to Watford Grammar School for Boys in September 2012.
