Study Leave: Study leave arrangements for students in Year 11, Lower and Upper 6th are as follows:

YEAR 11 Study leave for Year 11 students begins on Tuesday 8^th May. Students are welcome to attend revision sessions organised by teachers and should they wish to do their own revision in school, they may do so. They must come adequately prepared to work and dress in full school uniform.

L6 FORM Study leave begin on Friday 4^th May. Lower 6th students will be on study leave until they return from their exams on June 11^th

U6 FORM As of Tuesday 8^th May, Upper 6th students need attend lessons and organised revision sessions only. They must come suitably attired and will be registered in lessons.

We wish all our students success in their forthcoming examinations.
Lower School Play: The James Theatre is proud to present

The WBGS Lower School production of

GRIMM’S TWISTED TALES

5, 6 & 7 July 2012 from 7.30pm

Parents, students, families and friends are invited to attend this magnificent production where characters invent crafty plots to get what they want, reap what they sow or live happily-ever-after!! The production includes darkly comic versions of “Hansel and Gretel”, “The Hare and the Hedgehog”, “Rumpelstiltskin”, “Little Red Riding Hood”, “The Musicians of Bremen” and “Brother Scamp.” But beware this is not Disney, this is storytelling with a twist featuring a stellar cast of more than 30 students.

Refreshments and a fully licensed bar will be available during the interval

Normandy Trip 2012: The History Department has organised a Key Stage 3 Study Visit to the D-Day Landing Beaches, Mont St. Michel, Caen and Bayeux in France between 1^st – 4^th June 2012.

Leavers V Old Boys: Parents, Students and Old Boys are invited to the

2^nd Leavers Vs Old Boys Rugby Match

on Mon 3rd Sept 2012

Kick Off at 5.30pm

This annual event will be held at WBGS and will be followed by a buffet and presentation in the James Theatre Foyer at 8.00pm

The Old Boys side will be captained by Bedford and IRB England Sevens player Don Barrell. The Leavers VX will be captained by Harry Thorogood, last year’s captain of rugby.
