We are proud to announce that this year’s school production of Little Shop of Horrors has been reviewed as part of the National School Theatre Awards (NSTA), a national initiative that recognises excellence in student theatre across the UK.

The NSTA reviewer attended our final performance on Saturday 8 February 2025 and was full of praise for the talent, energy and professionalism displayed on and off stage. In a glowing review, they described the show as “an ovation-worthy performance” and commended the cast’s dynamic storytelling, powerful vocals and character work, as well as the creativity and effectiveness of the set design, sound, puppetry and direction.

Special recognition was given to standout performances from Tanishq (Seymour), Grace (Audrey), Henry (Mr Mushnik), Benjamin (Orin) and Anna, who voiced the fearsome Audrey II. The ensemble, backstage crew, musicians and production team were also applauded for their contributions to what was described as “a delightful and thoroughly engaging production”.

The NSTA provides young performers with an opportunity to be recognised by theatre professionals and to celebrate their dedication to the arts. We are thrilled that the hard work of our students and staff was honoured so warmly in this national forum.
