English Department Trip to Arvon Creative Writing Centre

In the second half of the Easter holiday Mrs Marshall and Mr Roy had the pleasure of taking a group of Year 10 and sixth-form students to the wilds of Devon for a residential creative writing course at an Arvon Creative Writing Centre. Surrounded by beautiful nature, with very little access to Wi-Fi, and led by two amazing and accessible real-life writers, the students revelled in poetry and drama writing, and communally cooked remarkably tasty meals, whilst learning important life skills such as how to dry up!
