In the run-up to Remembrance Day, this year classes in year 7 and 8 were tasked with researching an old boy who fell in the Great War.

They then had to produce a poppy stone with the name and details of the chosen soldier. The results were amazing and 7R were fortunate enough for their lesson to coincide with Remembrance Day, during which we held a service in their classroom with The Last Post, poetry and presentations from every student. A thought-provoking activity that brought a real connection for the boys involved.
